Resolution Confusion

I guess I am running late. I am just now thinking about my 2008 Resolutions or goals or whatever it is people are calling them now. I think people are changing the term from resolutions to goals, because people have zero intention of keeping their resolutions! I guess I do not have any lofty goals to speak of, none that will change the world by any means, and most likely my goals/resolutions may seem dumb and vain and selfish to many! (Although I think there are only maybe 3 people that ever read this!!)

So in 2008, I plan on learning a foreign language, Spanish to be exact.
In 2008 I plan to run 200 miles, swim 100 miles and bike 50 miles.
In 2008 I plan on reading the Bible from cover to cover.
In 2008 I plan on trying to post on my blog at least once a week.
In 2008 I plan on not tying my self worth to any accomplishments, but to the effort I put into things.
In 2008 I plan on maximizing my earnings to provide for me and my family.
In 2008 I plan on, wait let me reorganize these things and put them in some type of order instead of just rambling on about these…

1. In 2008 I plan on reading the Bible from cover to cover.
2. In 2008 I plan to run 200 miles, swim 100 miles and bike 50 miles.

You know what, that list is getting a little long so let’s scratch out numbers 1-5, and let’s just do it and not talk about it.
