R.I.P MCA


As you have probably heard, MCA of the Beastie Boys passed away. Anyone that was in high school in the late 80's knew of the Beasties. They were a great group, they were a very talented group of guys and lots of fun! There are a lot of memories associated with the Beasties, they made the best videos ever. I still rock License to Ill on my iPod. MCA succumbed to cancer late last week. He will be missed. Here is a tribute to the Beastie Boys from ColdPlay.





My favorite all time Beastie Boy video has to be Sabotage!  What is yours?

    Sabotage is awesome. No doubt.

    I had the pleasure of meeting him quite a few times the last couple years as one of the guys at the studio here worked on this project.

    I'm actually the "voice" of one of guys in the robot's head in the movie short of "Robot vs Octopus" on their DVD Video Collection. (All I do is mumble all of 3 seconds) My friend did the much cooler voice, he does the octopus screams.

    It's really sad. I look forward to the day when they can treat/cure more of these cancers.
