Well, this is something new and I am not making it up. A Belgian rider suffered an injury in the Tour of Spain that I have never heard of before. The injury occurred in his groin. His scrotum to be exact. This poor guy named Tom Boonen suffered this injury and had to ride the entire 47km standing on the pedals due to the friction between his bike shorts and his saddle.
Here is the link if you do not believe it. In an interview he stated "The extreme heat and excessive sweating caused a heavy irritation in that area. There is a hole. It is not the first time that I have suffered in this place, but never as bad as now.” I had to read that twice after cringing for a few minutes. Did he say there was a hole? Did he say this was not the first time it has happened? What?? I have been on some long rides before, and I have been uncomfortable after three hour rides, but if my balls ever bust into flames, then I am going to stop riding! I mean seriously, he said "there is a hole". There is not suppose to be a hole!!! And I would not be doing interviews about it either Tom!
Since you shave your entire body, the odds of this happening to you are very low.
