Well I am back for a minute or until Jesse wakes up. It has been a very busy month for us, but also a great month. As you know, we added on to the family and baby is doing great. Mom is also doing extremely well, we are just trying to figure the baby out and get into a schedule. His older brothers are pitching in and helping, but they also seem to need a little more personal attention, so I feel like I constantly have someone on me, either holding the baby or one of the older boys crawling on me.
Also we are in the midst of trying to refinance our house. Going from 7% down to 4.8125% which will drastically help out, so we are excited about that.
Training is also going well, I have really kicked it up a notch and balanced out my training. I now am doing 2 swims, 2 runs and 2 bikes a week. This has increased my mileage totals dramatically, so look out MIM Triathlon.
Now for my rant. you all know how I feel about the "resoluters" coming to the gym. Resoluters are people that join the gym as a New Years Resolution, and they only tend to get in the way and hog machines while not really doing anything. Well today I saw something that made me mad, even though it did not effect me.
I was running on the dreadmill (cause I did not want to fight the cold, if it is under 35, I run indoors) and on the treadmill in front of me there is a woman walking and chatting on her cell phone. Now there are people lining the walls waiting for a treadmill and here she is taking a stroll, yapping her gums on the cell phone. A classic "resoluter" move if you asked me. I so wanted to tell her to hang up and get to work, I actually felt bad for the people waiting along the wall. I hope there are rules about that, but i do not know. There is an indoor track upstairs that she can walk at her leisure if she wanted, but to tie up a machine so she can gab on the phone is just wrong.
That's just rude no matter HOW long you've been going to the gym! I woulda been steamed.
