I have decided to make this blog about my quest to be an Ironman one day and the training I am doing to get there. So all the topics will be somehow related to Triathlons going forward (unless there is just something that makes me want to vent). I know this may cause my readers to drop to a total of maybe 2 or 3, but I have to do what is best for me right?
So this morning I had a great swim. 100 yds in under 20 minutes. I would have swam longer, but I had a work meeting to get to. This evening, I ran 3.4 miles in 26:24 which averages out to 7:46 a mile. As I noted in an earlier post, it seems I am running faster than ever before, and I think I noticed something tonight.
My stride seems to have shortened up a bit. I use to take longer strides while running, but for some reason if I want to go fast, I shorten my stride and I am able to keep that consistent. Something to look into I guess.
My Goals:
2009- Same race schedule as 08, but I want to crush the times I set
2010- Half Marathon and Half Ironman
2011 Ironman and Marathon
